From 24.11.26 through 28.02.27, discover the work of Hélène Petite on the Affordable Art Wall.
Hélène Petite (°1983) is a visual artist based in Brussels.
She works with photography of flora and landscape. Her work is about how time shapes the subjects she photographs as well as how her artistic gestures shape the images.
Her focus is driven by a desire to observe the world around her with intense attention. She seeks to allow things time to settle within themselves and explores the power and potential contained in each photographic image she chooses.
She often uses already existing photography, such as collective or personal archives. She is interested in what happens to the photograph after it has been made, considering it as a matter rather than a surface.
