Accessibility
By public transport
De Lijn buses 70 and 709 stop at Kortrijk Plein, just 1 min. from Abby.
From Kortrijk station to Abby it’s an 850-metre walk.
By bicycle
Bicycle junction 53 is in Abby’s backyard: Begijnhofpark. As it happens, this junction is also part of the Flanders Route. This best-of route takes you along the finest highlights of the five Flemish provinces.
There is limited bicycle parking at Begijnhofpark. Larger bicycles are best parked on Houtmarkt.
By car
If you’re coming by car your best option is Parking Broel, Dam, 8500 Kortrijk (6 min. from Abby) or Parking Station, Stationsplein 8, Kortrijk (15 min. from Abby). Visitors with reduced mobility can opt for Parking Houtmarkt, Houtmarkt 1, Kortrijk (1 min. walk).
Coaches can drop off and collect their passengers on Houtmarkt (1 min. walk) and subsequently park in one of the city’s dedicated coach parks. In these reserved areas you don’t have to start a parking session.
