Nina Vandeweghe, also known as Nina Non Grata (b. 1988), creates multidisciplinary art rooted in autobiographical elements, woven into a visual language familiar from popular visual culture. Through playful and colourful imagery, she questions social conventions and normative expectations, with a particular focus on femininity and representation. Working across painting, ceramics, textile and text, she explores the tension between intimacy and public space.
