Making clay masks - ceramics workshop for all ages
Ceramics as a carrier of identity, expression and character
During this workshop, you will create a mask that reveals something about you, or perhaps hides it instead. Young and old create together, share stories, and draw inspiration from each other’s imagination.
Starting from a personal theme, you’ll play with building techniques, distortions, textures and theatrical expression, until a unique character takes shape in your hands. No experience needed - just come and make, discover and play.
After the workshop, the masks are fired and glazed. Then you head home with your own expressive mask and a solid dose of inspiration to keep experimenting with clay.
