Weaving Hope

A participatory installation

Weaving hope

The installation Weaving Hope grows through your contribution into a collective message of hope.

The exhibition After Nature. Beauty and Decay, from Savery to Today reflects on the beauty and the loss of nature. Inspired by the colourful ribbon wall of Senhor do Bonfim in Bahia (Brazil), where each knot holds a silent wish, we invite you to add your own ribbon in Abby’s salon.

You too can take part in this quiet ritual: pause for a moment, pick a ribbon, and write or draw a message or wish that feeds our shared hope for nature and the world. As the ribbons come together, they form a symbolic weave of shared intentions - a reminder that hope grows stronger when woven together as a community.

This installation is located in a low-stimulus space. During the exhibition, the Salon becomes a calm, freely accessible spot where you can settle into our beanbags and process the impressions you’ve gathered.
