Exploring art? At Abby, you do it a little differently. More actively. As a whole family! Abby welcomes families to discover and experience art in their own way - and get hands-on during workshops and open studio sessions.
And it's not just us saying Abby is great for families - you say so too! Through surveys, real visiting families assess whether Abby is truly child-friendly: a clear route, a varied programme, enough places to rest, and sufficient toilets for those unavoidable emergency stops.

What is the blue dot?
The blue dot is an initiative by museumpas that recognises museums approved by and for children. The label is awarded to museums that meet specific criteria, such as a family-oriented offer and a route highly rated by children. With the museumpas, families can visit 260 museums a year an important step in making cultural participation more accessible.
Spot the blue dot somewhere else? That means families are welcome there too. In 2026, more than 70 Belgian museums hold the approval for and by children. Discover all family-friendly museums here.
